How to Set Up IPTV: Installation Guides

Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up Canada IPTV on your preferred device. Most setups take less than 10 minutes.

Smart TV (Samsung / LG)
  1. 1Turn on your Samsung or LG Smart TV and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network.
  2. 2Navigate to the built-in app store — Samsung uses the Smart Hub, LG uses the LG Content Store.
  3. 3Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "SET IPTV" in the store. If these are not available, search for "NET IPTV" as an alternative.
  4. 4Download and install the app. Once installed, open it from your app list.
  5. 5Select the "Xtream Codes API" login option when prompted.
  6. 6Enter the server URL, username, and password provided in your activation email from Canada IPTV.
  7. 7The app will load your channel list and EPG. Browse by category or use the search function to find your favourite Canadian channels.
Amazon Firestick
  1. 1From your Firestick home screen, navigate to Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options. Enable "Apps from Unknown Sources" to allow sideloading.
  2. 2Return to the home screen and open the Amazon App Store. Search for "Downloader" (orange icon by AFTVnews) and install it.
  3. 3Open the Downloader app and enter the IPTV player download URL provided in your Canada IPTV activation email.
  4. 4The app will download automatically. When prompted, tap "Install" and wait for the installation to complete.
  5. 5Open the newly installed IPTV app from your Apps section. Choose "Xtream Codes API" as the login method.
  6. 6Enter your server URL, username, and password exactly as shown in your activation email.
  7. 7Your channels will load automatically. Set up your favourites by browsing to Canadian channels and starring the ones you watch most.
Android TV Box
  1. 1Connect your Android TV box to your television via HDMI and ensure it is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  2. 2Open the Google Play Store from your home screen.
  3. 3Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "TiviMate" and install your preferred app. TiviMate offers a more premium EPG experience, while IPTV Smarters is beginner-friendly.
  4. 4Open the installed app and select "Add Playlist" or "Xtream Codes Login" depending on the app.
  5. 5Enter your Canada IPTV credentials: server URL, username, and password from your activation email.
  6. 6Wait for the channel list and EPG data to load. This may take a minute on the first load.
  7. 7Navigate through the channel categories. We recommend setting up a Favourites list with your most-watched Canadian channels for quick access.
iPhone / iPad
  1. 1Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. 2Search for "IPTV Smarters Player" or "GSE Smart IPTV" and download the app. Both are free to install.
  3. 3Open the app and tap the "+" or "Add Playlist" button.
  4. 4Choose "Xtream Codes API" as the connection method for the best experience with EPG and VOD support.
  5. 5Enter your Canada IPTV server URL, username, and password. Tap "Add User" or "Connect".
  6. 6Your channel list will populate automatically. Use the category sidebar to browse by region or content type.
  7. 7For the best viewing experience on iPad, enable landscape mode. On iPhone, you can use picture-in-picture mode to watch while using other apps.
Windows PC
  1. 1Open your web browser and download IPTV Smarters for Windows from the official source linked in your Canada IPTV activation email.
  2. 2Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  3. 3Launch IPTV Smarters and select "Xtream Codes API" login.
  4. 4Enter your server URL, username, and password provided by Canada IPTV.
  5. 5Once connected, your channel list will appear on the left panel with categories for easy navigation.
  6. 6Alternatively, you can use VLC Media Player: open VLC, go to Media, then Open Network Stream, and paste your M3U playlist URL.
  7. 7For VLC, the channel list loads in the playlist panel. Double-click any channel to start watching. Note that VLC does not support EPG.
Mac
  1. 1Open the Mac App Store or your browser and download IPTV Smarters for macOS. Alternatively, download VLC Media Player for Mac.
  2. 2Install the application by dragging it to your Applications folder or following the installer prompts.
  3. 3Open the app and select the Xtream Codes API login method.
  4. 4Enter your Canada IPTV credentials: server URL, username, and password.
  5. 5The channel list will load with all categories. Browse Canadian, Sports, Movies, and other sections.
  6. 6For VLC users: open VLC, click File, then Open Network, and paste your M3U URL from the activation email.
  7. 7Adjust the stream quality in settings if needed. For Mac users on Wi-Fi, a 5GHz connection is recommended for 4K content.
MAG Box
  1. 1Connect your MAG box to your TV via HDMI and ensure it is connected to your internet via Ethernet cable (recommended) or Wi-Fi.
  2. 2Power on the MAG box and wait for it to boot to the home screen.
  3. 3Navigate to Settings, then System Settings, then Servers.
  4. 4Select "Portals" from the menu.
  5. 5In Portal 1 Name, enter "Canada IPTV". In Portal 1 URL, enter the portal URL provided in your activation email.
  6. 6Save the settings and restart the MAG box. It will connect to the Canada IPTV server on boot.
  7. 7After restart, your channel list will load automatically with the full EPG. Use the remote to browse channels by category and set favourites.
